Sometimes without warning we lose what is precious to us. It is
extremely hard to accept and even harder to move on. We can only
hope that what is precious finds its way back to the Kingdom of Lost
Things, and from there back to us.
Author Aviv Meshil was 23 years old, having fun backpacking across
Southeast Asia in June 2019. While paddle boarding near Bali, high
winds swept him away never to be seen again.
Prior to his demise, Aviv was a creative and comedic writer. Written
at age 16, Kingdom of Lost Things is a fine example of his creativity.
Proceeds from this book will purchase art and film supplies for the
performing arts high school Aviv attended.
